Performing work by students and graduates of Polish universities

Introduction

Students, doctoral students, and graduates of Polish universities who are citizens of the Member States of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland or family members of citizens of these countries, exercising their freedom of movement in Poland, have full access to the labour market in Poland. Thus, they have the right to search, take up and change jobs, at any time, without the need to have a work permit.

The possibilities of taking up gainful employment by other foreigners are subject to certain restrictions as to the form of studies or the basis of residence. Graduation in Poland does not in every case guarantee the possibility of performing work without the need to have an appropriate permit.
