Reminder

Introduction

The administrative body should complete the proceedings within the time limit specified by law. In any case of delay in settling the matter, they should inform the party about the reasons for the delay, set a new deadline for settling the matter and inform about the right to file a reminder.

A reminder is a legal solution intended to speed up the conclusion of proceedings that have been going on for too long, in the light of the regulations.

A party submits a reminder in a situation where it considers that the administrative body remains inactive, i.e., it has not settled the matter within the time limit specified by law or within the next period set by it, or when the authority conducts the proceedings longer than is necessary to settle the case, i.e., it examines the case in a protracted manner.
